In the Rungeet Bungalow: a canopied bed, a fireplace and your own deep verandah facing the snows.
The Verandah Suite opens straight onto its own section of the Rungeet Bungalow's deep wooden verandah, with two planter's chairs, a low table and nothing between you and Kanchenjunga but forty kilometres of air. Most guests take breakfast out here at least once. Inside, the bedroom is cool and pale, with a canopied king bed, a fireplace and a writing table under the window. The Rungeet Bungalow is a short, lantern-lit walk through the garden from the Main Bungalow, so this is the quieter side of the estate, with the forest at your back. The bathroom has a slipper bath set beneath the window, a separate shower and toiletries made for us in Kalimpong.
